Does Aetna cover IVF meds for out of network clinics?

We have Aetna Federal HMO and are thinking of going out of state for our 5th attempt at IVF. We will have to pay out of pocket for the treatment, but will Aetna still cover IVF meds? Has anyone who went out of network for treatment been able to get med coverage? If so, how?

Did you use the Aetna Specialty Pharmacy? The drugs are about half off. Once you get an Rx, you should be able to call and have them run everything through their system. They ship from FL and overnight the drugs in special ice packs.

I am using Aetna for my first IVF but buying my meds out of pocket from Grubbs. I've heard Aetna marks about their drugs almost 100% and then "covers" half, so you pay close to Grubbs prices with the headache of ordering ahead of time and much poorer service.
