Getting into LANK

How difficult is it to get into Reston's LANK? The child-teacher ratio is so low which is awesome, but I fear it's a complete roll of the dice with the lottery.
Any sense? |

| i kind of got the sense that you "apply" but it's a formality. several of my neighbors' kids go there and i never heard any stress about getting in. but i could be totally wrong... |

| My worry is that there are only like 10 spots for the JR ps. Seems like such a long shot with priority to siblings of "alumni." Just wondering if it's a waste of time and the application fee. |
