Shopping near 15th and M?

I need to kill some time near 15th and M for an hour or two tomorrow. I don't really know that area and with only an hour, I'd rather know in advance where I'm going instead of wandering--is there any clothes shopping around there? I'm not high-fashion--any department store would be fine, or basic stores like Gap, Ann Taylor, etc. Thanks in advance!

There is a Gap, Filene's and some high end stores over by the Mayflower on Connecticut Ave, just off M.

As a PP said, just head up Conn towards Dupont and you'll see enough to keep you busy for sure!
