Fixing a Noisy Bed Frame

We recently bought a beautiful bed frame from World Market. It creaks. It makes the mattress dip in the middle. I contacted World Market and they basically told me they have never had this problem. I really like the frame but I can't take the noise it makes. Has anyone fixed a bedframe so it does not creak or dip in the middle. It is not the mattress, the mattress is new and fine on other frames. I am thinking there is a lack of support - duh. Any ideas how I can fix this? Should I just get some planks from Home Depot and replace the support the frame came with. The frame itself is sturdy and does not move. It is soley the mattress making annoying noises.
