Purchasing IVF meds from an overseas pharmacy?

Anonymous
Has anyone here purchased (or considered purchasing) IVF Meds from a pharmacy overseas? I was doing some research yesterday and found this pharmacy that sells the three months of Depot Lupron I need for $960. The cheapest price I've been able to find here in the US is $2262. That's pretty tempting, considering that my insurance covers nothing. Has anyone heard of this particular pharmacy, good or bad? The meds apparently ship from London at a cost of $49 ($99 for the expedited service).

I wouldn't if I were you. Keep checking around. I'd rather pay more and know I was getting the right thing.

Proceed with extreme caution, OP. Fake/bad drugs are problem even in this country, and outside of it, especially in the Wild West of the internet, you really don't know what you are getting. Google it. And you're not just talking about your health here... it's also your baby's.

There is a Canadian authority that certifies pharmacies for consumers ordering online. It is called CIPA. Canadian International Pharmacy Association. Members are guaranteed. They only ship with a prescription. There is the precaution though that FDA can confiscate meds when they are shipped across the border and you wouldn't even know it. It is definitely risky.
