CSA suggestion for Bethesda area?

Anonymous
We have been members of Spiral Path farm for the last several seasons, but they will not be in Bethesda this up coming year (the low attended Sat farmer's market isn't happening next year and the Sunday one has a wait list for space). For logistics reasons, we need a CSA where we can pick up our share in Bethesda. Does anyone have a CSA that they love? We prefer organic.

Thanks!

That's too bad. I find the Sunday market to be more of a hassle, parking etc. I liked Spiral Path!

p.s. you might look at bending bridge-- I think they are organic, at the Sunday market and are pretty flexible.

We love Bending Bridge. Pick-up in Bethesda Sunday morning (and in the summer there is also the option for a Saturday morning pick-up at the market on Rockville Pike).

They are organic -- they are year round -- and you get to choose what you want.

Norman's Farm Market has a fabulous CSA. Several pick up sites/days. The best part is you can choose your produce. They send out a weekly newsletter with the week's selections which really helps with meal planning.

I'm really interested in this one. However, on their website, buried in the description, is some information about a church and Jesus. Is this a ministry of a church and/or is the goal of the CSA to proselytize? I happen not be christian, and I am not seeking a different religion/do not want to be contacted by church members etc. I also don't want to 'take advantage' of this if it is a subsidized ministry of a church or something.

Does anyone know/have experience with this CSA?
Thanks

Another vote for Normans! It's really nice to be able to pick what you want any given week. You can also add a farm egg share to the veggies.

Spiral Path WILL be at the Sunday market this year--we already signed up to get the early bird discount.

There is at least one pick-up location in Bethesda, it's all organic, and great quality and quantity. Also like that they are now offering a 60% box.
