Hello, My name is Katie and I need some help with infant care recommendations. I just had my first baby (Lucia-2months old) and I'll be heading back to work. I live in Wheaton near the library and not sure what to do about daycare. My husband and I need something affordable but are considering all options. I know it will depend a great deal on what is available/open. Can you help a new mom out? Any info/recommendations would be appreciated!! Feel free to email me at: khonerkamp@aol.com as well. |

I recommend looking at the St Paul UMC CDC in Silver Spring (off East West Highway). My daughter has been there since she was 3 months old and could not be happier. I highly recommend it. |

| check out a nannyshare unless minimizing cost is a major factor. i live just a bit north of you - just shy of Layhill. I found the care options for under 2s in our area to be really limited. the county has a list of home daycares though I think - that's what you'll need most likely since there are virtually no infant centers nearby. |

contact monday morning moms - they can really help you locate a quality in home program that is convenient to where you live/work and that has openings. we are expecting baby #2 soon and i just talked to them today about my future needs for both kiddos. they are also really nice.
