What don't you like about Maryland?

Whether you live in, work in, or even just drive through Maryland.... what don't you like about it?
We might be moving to MD next year (around the Rockville area). Just wondering about the down sides. |

The DLLR. And we don't call it "Maryland", we call it "The Peoples Republic of Maryland".

Department of Labor, Licensing and Registration. Don't get me started.
Taxes are an issue that you better understand before you move, especially to Rockville. Maryland is NOT for Lovers. |

I've heard it goes both ways though. That some Virginians aren't big fans of MD. Which seems strange to me anyway. Aren't all the DC suburbs sorta similar? |

Well, I don't own a business. I'm guessing that unless I have to deal with unemployment, maybe I can just avoid the DLLR? And, please tell me more about the taxes. |

Are they worse than Boston drivers? I lived there for a few years, and I think they broke me in to crazy drivers anywhere. |

NO! No one is worse than Boston drivers. I lived there for a while too and I'm still scared thinking of those crazy drivers! |
