| Ok, they were cheap, from Macy's, 25 bucks. They look good on me (my butt/hips are optimal size, not too big, not skinny), but now I'm a little torn whether I should keep them or not. My mother, after examining my post-Christmas shopping spree, cringed and told me they were "too loud." I have a lot of neutrals in my wardrobe (black black and more black), which is why I bought them but now I feel like I'm going to chicken out of wearing these (I have a history of making trendy bargain purchases and then never wearing them). I feel like they are going to take valuable closet real estate that could have gone to a nice pair of black or blue jeans, or maybe nothing at all since I do have a ton of clothes to begin with. Ok, you get the point, I'm sort of neurotic. What should I do?!?! |

Some ideas:
http://www.musingsofahousewife.com/2012/02/fashion-friday-how-to-wear-red-jeans.html Keep them! Even a few outfits make the 25 bucks worth it. You'll get used to them, and they'll look great. |
| I love my red jeans and I get lots of compliments on them. I wear them with beige and black tops/sweaters mostly. I have a cute black polka dot blouse that looks great with them. Red is a great color...so have fun! |

| Pp...thanks! I now have more styles to add to my wardrobe. |
| Burn them. |
Oh look! She's in agreement with your mom...how old is your mom again? |
| I would wear them with any of the sweater and tops above. Super darling with a chambray blouse, too. In the spring, I would wear a navy and white tee layered and a pair of nude flats. Or a french-sailor, boat-neck type top. |
| Thanks for the photos 10:38! I have a pair of red cords and these are great ideas. |
Me too! Polka dot and beige tops |
| I would also try a button down denim shirt with them. I think that would look really cute too. |
| OP here, thanks pps! I feel a little bit better about them after seeing these posts... My wardrobe is very black-heavy and could use a little color so we'll try this thing out! |
| How long do you guys think this trend is going to last anyway? |
| umm...depending on the cut of the jean, quite some time. And they're $25 jeans. Who cares? |
| Did the photos come from polyvore? |
