Where to go with a 14 yo girl for Spring Break?

Her older brothers are both going to be away, so this will be our first vacation with just DH, me and our DD. I worry she will be bored without company, but bringing a friend won't be an option because we just moved here and don't know anyone well enough yet. I'm thinking maybe just do some short trips around DC, with possibly a few nights somewhere driveable and fun.

Any suggestions?

NYC. Cruise out of Baltimore. A couple of nights at a resort such as Bedfors Springs, Wintergreen, seven Springs. Camping. Boston. Biking on the eastern shore. And, of course, DC is amazing.

NYC; Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, then Hershey Park); Williamsburg (if she cares about historical stuff. You could also hit Busch Gardens).

She's 14. What are her interests? Fashion, take her to NYC. Food, try Philly, or maybe Baltimore. Nature, take her to WV.

NYC is a great choice. How about LA? Great weather, fun shopping, tourist attractions, and the beach.
