Lab at Dominion Fertility

So I'm just curious here and its sort of a mute point as I am almost finished with my TTC journey, but for those of you that have been or are patients at DF, do you feel their lab is any good? I hope it is and don't want to second guess my decision (irrelevant anyway) but am just curious. I have a DC conceived on the 1st attempt with a different, out of town, clinic and just assumed that I could do it again. Now 6 attempts in still nothing at DF. I am older and I like the practice and my doc quite a bit, but still second guessing myself.

This is OP...all attempts were IVF of one form.

I think that their rates are pretty good for standard IVF. I compared once on the SART website.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda. If their lab wasn't any good they'd be out of business.

Don't beat yourself up, you can't change the past.

The lab was exceedingly clean when I went there. Everyone in my group (women trying in 3 mon period) got pregnant. It was awhile ago, however.

I had success there after multiple failures at the biggest practice in the area so I'm biased in my opinion.

Thanks for the responses...and yes, the shoulda, woulda is never a helpful thing to do! I'm sure its just my old eggs, but it makes me feel better to hear the positive feedback.

I am a happy DF patient...so extremely biased...but...do as Dr. G suggests, compare their DE stats to evaluate the lab...then it takes out the issue of YOUR egg quality, and is a better assessment of the lab, in general.

FWIW...I was 42 when the lab had to freeze/thaw my 5 day embryos from a stimulated IVF (7 of them) because of OHSS. My 42 year old embryos had a 100% freeze/thaw success rate...Dr. G transferred 6 (the seventh looked 'bad')...and I came away from that cycle with 3 initial implantations, and 2 healthy take home babies (one implantation spontaneously aborted).

Any lab that can successfully do NCIVF...typically working with one egg, doing ICSI and transferring a single embryo...and do it successfully, AND routinely...it has to be pretty good.

A satisfied DF patient...

Any clinic's lab that can successfully do NCIVF must be good, we got a BFP after our second attempt at NCIVF.
