Why was my post deleted?

Hey Jeff, I posted about issues with my greencard process and asked for tips but my post was deleted. What did I do wrong?

Which forum did you post it in? Are you sure it wasn't moved to another forum?

The substance of the post was inconsistent with known facts and appeared to be trolling. I received your explanation by email, but I'm not sure that I buy it. I will concede that trolling is normally not your style.

Well, like everybody around I do change some facts when I'm posting about myself but this was a genuine post. I believe my friend even posted on the Expectant forum when she was pregnant.

Anyway, I believe we got answers for her questions. We've found several forums discussing the issue and we got a few responses there too.

I'm just curious about what people said when reporting the post and why they believed it was not genuine.

I don't really recall the details now. I had over 30 reports of spam, trolling, and other nefarious deeds when I woke up this morning. So, I went through them pretty fast. Spam was particularly bad over night.
