| I have the mixed greens from Costco and making beef tenderloin. What's the best and easiest way to finish the salad? |
|
Trader Joes Balsamic Vinagrette.
But making your own vinagrette- any Martha Stewart recipe is super fast and quicker than going to the store. |

One of the things that disturbs me about this country is that people seem to feel the need to buy dressing.
just stir together dijon mustard, salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It takes what, 30 seconds? One minute? |
| Np here. Pp I would love to know the recipe listed above, how much dijon? How much olive oil? How much balsamic? |
| Sorry this disturbs you about this country. I never buy dressing, that's why I asked for a recommendation here. But I need to bring with me everything I'm making for New Year's Eve dinner (no dependable grocery stores within 60 miles) and I'm trying to cut down on the million little things to remember or can easily be forgotten. Thanks for the recommendations! |

I just wing it and taste it. if it needs more of something then I add it.
I guess something like a teaspoon of balsamic, 2 tablespoons of balsamic, and 3 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil, a couple of pinches of salt and a few grinds of pepper. |
Drama Queen
I do make my own with the Trader Joe's everyday seasoning, rice wine vinegar and olive oil, but also really like the Braggs Ginger vinegrette. The Newman dressings are great too. |
Wow, PP. If this is even in your top 100 things of things that bother you about this country, then all I can say is...WOW! |
| OP, I would go with any balsamic vinagrette, and then buy one of those pouch topper thingys they sell in the salad section nowadays to sprinkle on top -- they usually have nuts, dried berries, etc. |
| I find that using grocery store salad dressing to be the one processed, prepackaged food to be disturbing as well. It defeats the whole purpose and tastes gross. But I like annoys Ginger dressing if I have to |
| Marie's is my favorite. |
| Sorry but they are all bad. |
| Pre-mix your on, and transport it in a jar. We do equal parts oil and vinegar and a squirt of mustard, pinch of sugar, das of salt and pepper. |
| Annie's shitake sesame. |
| Whole Foods store brand Balsamic Vinegrette is so delicious. I also love Tessame's Lemon Vinegrette at Whole Foods. |
