High estrogen right before IVF cycle?! Help!

Just took my last bcp last night (on pills for 20 days) and came in for bloodwork and ultrasound today. My ovaries looked "perfect" according to the tech but my estrogen level came back high - 100. Nurse said they want number to be less than 60. I was supposed to start my meds on Saturday but that's on hold. I'm going in on Friday for another bloodtest.

I'm so discouraged. Is it even possible for my estrogen to drop in two days? I've never had this issue before and am so worried. Anyone else been through this and achieved a successful cycle?

I had it happen...don't remember the numbers but I started the day after I was supposed to. BFN but had 7 day 5 embryos so I would say it probably didn't hurt anything. My estrogen did drop quickly. Good luck, I'm sure it will be totally fine!

My estrogen skyrocketed during the cycle and had to switch protocols mid-way and a last minute switch on the trigger bc it continued to climb. Also resulted in 7 5-day embryos and currently 21 weeks pregnant. Very stressful, but your doctor should be able to manage around it. Hang in there!
