Tipping the groomer

How much do you tip your dog groomer? We have a groomer that we love and I normally tip $5 (bill comes to $35) but today noticed a lot of $10's and even $20's in his tip jar and am now wondering if I don't tip enough??

I would like to know this, too. I just got a dog and took her to Petco on Conn. Ave. When I picked up I wasn't told who actually groomed my dog so I didn't know who to tip or how much. The bill came to $40. What's appropriate? I guess maybe I should just ask who the groomer was, so I can figure that part out, but just not sure of the amount going forward. FWIW they did an awesome job.

15-20% is the norm, just like the people groomer, er stylist.
