I also think Americans (me being american too) are too judgemental about their people.. too empathetic of their fellow human beings especially in this area that care ONLy about the almighty dollar. TOo much emphasis placed on George washington than other washingtonians.

SAHMs know they're glorified prostitutes once the kids are in school and that's why they're so angry on here.

Damn!! That's a new one. Glorified pristitutes!?! What a leap lol.

But, I ask you, what if they're in a sexless marriage now that the kids are here? No need for intimacy when you have satisfied the baby fever, and are way to busy with PTO meetings. What say you now?!?

Really? You're seriously trying to reignite the dead mommy wars debate? Seems you must be very unhappy with your own life to slam others for their choices. Sorry to hear you're the one with the sexless marriage. Must be rough.

Last poster - you are taking this way TOO seriously! The comments are funny! Since she's joking about it, I doubt she's the one in the sexless marriage, however, they way you jumped all over her makes you seem very defensive....anything you want to tell us? Check with your DH to see if he's the one that posted this! He's tired on not having sex!!

Ummm... okaaaay...

I hate thank you notes. I appreciate a good letter from a friend, but the obligatory, endless thank you notes are too much! Just say thank you when you get the gift or if you mention it. That's it! We're good.

The endless cycle is one of the most annoying things of modern parenthood to me.

I feel superior to people with deadly allergies. If not for modern medicine your faulty genes would have killed you off by now.

I'm the consensual living poster from another thread... I knew my opinion was in the EXTREME minority, but I didn't realize I would cause such irritation and intense disagreement that would derail the thread. That wasn't my intention and I regret it, so moving forward I will likely refrain from positing since my perspective is so in the minority as to not seem like anyone would find it helpful input.

A 'diverse' school isn't desirable.

I agree. Especially if it's diverse due to a lowering of criteria.

I couldn't care less about Bruce Jenner, and trans-issues in general.

You are not in the minority on this one, sister

Children should be denied SN help if their mothers were over 35 when they were born. A rare occurrence is one thing, but playing Russian roulette with other people's money? should NOT be supported

I think it's offensive to all women when a man can claim that he is a woman, even though he clearly is not

I would not deny the child help, but maybe charge the parents a fee or something. SN education should not be completely on the tax payers.
