I posted in the General Parenting Forum about Parents feelings towards becoming aware to severe mental illnesses within their children and it was moved to the "off topic" forum? Why? The question at hand was directly related to parenting, as controversial as it may be, I do not believe it should have been moved/deleted.
Can some admin explain why they chose to delete or move my thread? |
I moved it for a number of reasons. First, General Parenting is really aimed at topics dealing with very young children. We have an Older Kids and Teenagers forum for issues pertaining to older kids. The sort of thing you were discussing probably wouldn't be noticeable in young children.
Second, the thread is probably going to turn into another Newtown thread and I don't want those threads dominating every single forum here. Third, you have been sock puppeting a number of threads that you've started. If you are going to stay up all night sock puppeting this thread, I'd rather have you do it in Off Topic. |
why does it matter if I'm sock puppetting? All of my threads have been well thought out and interesting, I'm generating more traffic and keeping things fresh. I'm not making the 5th post about "Why is my babies poo green", so whats the problem? Also, why is the post called "General Parenting" if it's only for parents of young children? Why not create a thread for parents of Young Children? I Also, the condescending tone is not appreciated. |
Go away Sock Puppet. Talk to yourself in the mirror. You wanted an explanation, and you got one. If you don't like Jeff and Maria's sandbox, then start your own forum. |
Whaaaa! Get a f'in life. |
You asked, Jeff answered. Jeff has weighed in on sock puppeting numerous times in the past, too -- unfavorably. I tend to agree. |
