I know, shower soon after working out, but any specific product recs? Especially for the upper back
Am having the same problem. Running has been great for my mind and body, but my back is a mess. I bought Neutrogena Clean and Clear body wash and it doesn't seem to be helping. Thanks for starting this thread!
I exercise frequently and have had moderate acne/bacne so I can definitely relate. Leaving them alone, warm compresses, and patience, I would think it might be helpful. Also, a good over-the-counter treatment system can do wonders if you find the right one for your skin type. I found some good reviews and comparisons of these @ http://dermahealthreview.com/blog
Also, I suggest being sure you aren't running in cotton. That might be causing abrasions or just inflaming your skin. The microfibers are much better.
Get the PeterThomasRoth Blemish buffing beads bodywash from Sephora. Has changed my skin dramatically. No more unsightly zits, rough patches etcetera. I have stopped using any benzoyl peroxide products in favor of low concentrations of salicylic acid products and it has done the trick for me.
Shower within 30 minutes of your run. Put lotion on. Tons of acne this time of year is dry skin.
