We need to run humidifiers in our bedrooms - parents & kids with excema and congestion - both problems are much alleviated with the humidifier. BUT, we are having the problem of condensation on windows and outside walls. We have been running a steam mist humidifier.
Would a cool mist humidifier solve this problem (air not as warm hitting the cold-not insulated brick-outside wall)? Do humidifiers with humidstat settings work? Any recommendations on brands/models? We have forced heat and a whole-house humidifier but unfortunately due to poor air circulation in 2 of the upstairs bedrooms (old house) this isn't enough. |
| Hmm...would opening a window for 5 minutes a day solve the problem? Not an ideal solution, but cheap and easy. |
