Infertility Support and Discussion
Hi all, I just had an ET and on Day 6 (today) had 5 blasts that didn't meet criteria for freezing. I am pretty sure we are going to freeze them anyway. Has anyone ever done this, or am I just crazy?

We went with the advice of the embryologist. But I can see how it would depend on circumstances - how difficult was it to get this far, your age, finances, how likely you are to try again, etc. The decision by the experts is all based on statistics...and they only work when you look at things broadly not at the individual level.
Good luck. |
I don't know much about this, but if I were in your situation, I would trust the experts.
If they didn't meet the freeze criteria than I would not want to pay to have them stored when they are most likely going to fail to implant.
Thanks! In the end, we decided to freeze them since they were still dividing. But it was a philosophical decision for us .
