Saving $ on cell phone plans: Anyone use Boost Mobile?

Anonymous
I've begun researching alternatives to Verizon. So far I'm very tempted to try Boost Mobile or one of the other pre-paid, no contract plans. I am not a heavy user, but I'm wondering how coverage in this area is. I'm in Herndon.

So, any satisfied or dissatisfied customers out there?

I use straighttalk, which is a reseller on ATT's network. It's pretty close to the same service and coverage as ATT, but there are small things, like I don't seem able to text pictures, but I am probably saving at least $25 a month.

I'm in MoCo and I've had Boost for something like 5 years now. I only pay $40/month for unlimited talk/text/data on the shrinkage loyalty plan. If you don't use your phone for much, I'd recommend Virgin Mobile. They start at $35/month for unlimited text/data. I get great coverage. I'm not sure what it's like where you are, but you can find out by doing a search for Sprint's coverage map. Boost and Virgin Mobile both run on Sprint's network.
