My DW wants to buy an established small business that is for sale nearby; it is a long time dream of hers to own a small shop in the community. A problem is that neither of us have any idea where to begin.
Is there an organization that we go to for answers? Do we hire an attorney or agent to help? Thanks for your positive feedback! |

| I like the SBA idea. They used to have a cadre of retired small business people that would counsel folks like you, free of charge. Getting to the bottom of what this business is actually worth is key. |

| SBA also really supports women-owned business. Definitely contact them. |
