Teacher Gifts?

Anonymous
Looking for recommendations for gifts for teachers. Any fun creative ideas? Any teachers here who have favorite gifts they've received from students/parents? Thanks.

I'm giving a bottle of wine, one of champagne, and a bottle of the fake bubbly for her kids. I'll put it all in a basket.

I made homemade soup and cookie mixes. Lead teacher is also getting a gift certificate to a nice restaurant.

Money. Via gift cards.

I spend the day googling - and it seems like the overwhelming top things (according to the internet) is a gift that shows thanks (such as a nice note) and gift cards (either for the teacher or for the teacher to buy supplies for the class - since they end up spending their own money).

So I got them both a personal gift card of someplace they like (room moms sent them a survey) and a gift card for classroom supplies. I guess I need to add a nice thank you note.

Hmm. I wouldn't get a gift card for school supplies because frankly, that's not really a gift for the teacher, is it? We make it a point to ask regularly if she needs anything for the classroom - we've bought tons of handsoap, tissues, and baby wipes at her request. I think she deserves something just for her at the holidays as our way of saying thank you.

I get each teacher a $10 starbucks gift card and put it in a card. I know its not much, but its what we can do and I figure it can be regifted if they do not like it.
