Needed Clomid Before Miscarriage --- any thoughts on whether I'll need it after?

Hi everyone,

This is mostly just hoping for some other stories, as I imagine it's far too soon to know what's going to happen for me. I started taking clomid because I didn't get my period back for several months after going off birth control. I got pregnant after the second cycle of clomid, which was thrilling. We were very disappointed to learn that it was a missed miscarriage (blighted ovum) at the seven week ultrasound last week. I had a D&C on Saturday. While I'm feeling pretty sad, I am hoping that we'll be able to conceive again soon, and I was pleased to learn that my husband and I can get pregnant. What I am wondering about is whether anyone has experience with a pregnancy/miscarriage triggering natural ovulation such that I wouldn't need to take clomid again? It's not the worst thing to take it, but it'd be nice to avoid, and I imagine that waiting for the Dr to determine that it's necessary and prescribe it again will add even more time until we can TTC again.
