HG beat MDU east 8-4

HG is a very good team. I am surprised to see they beat East team handily.

No we don't.

We do. Club director has a real opportunity here but is not taking it seriously. Likely to go the way of Pride in 5 years.

As long as BLC doesn’t introduce high school–aged teams, Capital will continue to thrive. Both organizations benefit from one another and will likely continue to rely on that mutual support.

I think you missed this posters point. They said YJMA will go the way of Pride. This wasn't a post about BLC.

Interesting take on YJMA, but probably to be expected. Pride is sinking but it will always be a good place for rec kids to practice/learn a little more as a C club.

I think most of YJMA will stay put and the top girls won't be trying out for Capital.

That is what “they” say every year!

Yup

There will be a year that is different and sets a precedent. Maybe this is the year. MnD DC had some issues with team dynamics between players, coaches and parents which led to the departures.

Too many YCs for MDU in first half, couldn’t dig out of the hole.

30s won't be the year. Some are already telling their friends they will be trying out for Capital

They are probably doing that because of the uncertainty. If you don’t know what everyone else is doing, you have to hedge the worst outcome which is the team not existing or losing key players.

Better to actually go to the Capital tryouts and actually see who else is there too. Only way to actually know.

There are way too many teams in the top division to have a fair playoff ranking. CCLax plays the easiest schedule I’ve seen and there are others close somehow. How can some teams play 3-4 of the top 10 teams in the nation and others maybe play 1?
