Clothes help needed

I have some flannel pajamas that I love. During the winter, I'd spend 24 hours a day in them if I could. Since I can't do that, for a variety of reasons, I'd like to find a daytime counterpart to them. Where do you find your warmest, coziest, most comfortable stay-at-home clothes?

Long yoga pants? From where? Mine are all capri-length.

Go to Lucy. They have a huge selection but they have some really nice affordable ones for $29. They have both petite and tall lengths so you should be able to find the right length. I have mine on right now.

LL Bean has some fake courderoys with elastic waists. A bit dowdy, but less so than flannel pjs

Yoga clothes are certainly comfy, but they don't really work out of the house.

My flannel pjs are not too dowdy, but way too whimsical for anyone but family to see. Somehow I am just craving comfort right now, and I appreciate all the suggestions. Keep them coming.

I think yoga pants work better out of the house than elastic corduroys

I buy mine at Lucy, as well. The yoga pants, that is.

I wear yoga pants all the time. I only change into jeans or trousers to go out.

I usually get my comfortable clothes at Target or at Kohl's. Kohl's has some really nice fleece sets, that are really nice, warm and cosy, and are not at all dowdy.

I got a few pair of yoga-type pants from NY & Co when they were having their sale, and they have been wonderful! They were only like $12, plus they come in different lengths (short, regular, tall) and come in different colors - brown, black, navy.

They also have them on their website, and I think the price now is still only about $16. They're really comfy!

I second the lounge around pants (i.e pj pants). Like you, I wouldn't wear them out in public (they have skiing penguins on them), so I got some neutral plaids to alternate so I could scoop up the baby and go out for small things - walking dog around the block, going to the mailbox, running to the gas station, etc.

Also, Kohls has a pretty modest selection of neutral and/or plain colored pants.

If you are pretty normal weight to slim, yoga pants and long sleeve tshirts are the way to go! Old Navy, Target, etc. buy black or darker colors. Tops-- JCrew long sleeve or Gap favorite tee long sleeve. There are great fleece zip ups or pull overs at Old Navy and LL Bean to throw on over and feel comfy and warm. Top off with a down coat (slim puffer) in black (check Filenes or Marshalls) and some uggs or something like it and you are good to go, stylish and comfy!!
