Hello all,
I am trying to get pregnant with our second child. For my first pregnancy I had really sore nipples for the 1st trimester or so. I just ovulated and my DH and I did our thing at the appropriate time, the next day my nipples started to be sore. Now 4 days later they are still very sore. My question is could this be an early sign of pregnancy? Would it start this soon? Just anxious and very curious if others started feeling these sensations imediatley after possible conception. Thanks. |
With my first pg, I had the feeling of needles inside my nipples (kind of like what I vaguely recall from early puberty and very much unlike anything I have felt since then) from 1 dpo (and IUI). Unfortunately for us, that pg ended in a chem pg - and the symptoms just sort of faded away a day after first getting a positive test. My next pg (and the one that brought me db), I felt nothing of the kind - just vague breast tenderness.
Best wishes to you!!! |
Yes, but for me it was the whole breast (and side), not particularly the nipple. My breasts were so sore and huge, but it was my first pregnancy so I didn't realize that's what it was. I thought it was PMS and then slowly started to figure it out. Took a pregnancy test a week later, and I was pregnant. Good luck! |
I took a preg test 4 days before my period was due because my breasts/nipples were SO SORE. I knew it was either the worst PMS of my life, or I was preggers. Sure enough, my bouncing baby boy arrived nine months later! |
I noticed the breast/nipple tenderness about 5 dpo and knew I was pregnant. I got the confirmation with a positive test at 11dpo.

i was the total opposite. i always had horribly tender breasts before AF was due to show, and one of my first clues that i might be PG was that i had hardly any tenderness to speak of as she was coming due. it kicked in around 5 weeks though, wow!! |
