Questions about MLB.TV

I think I'm going to get DH a subscription to MLB.TV but I had a few questions that I'm hoping someone on here can answer:

1-- Can you use the subscription on an unlimited number of devices? i.e. iphone, ipad, laptop, desktop and wi-fi enabled Panasonic DVD player? Or is there a limit?

2-- it looks like the annual subscription runs March to March. So if I sign up now, it only runs until March?

3-- I am assuming that if I sign up for monthly and then want to switch to annual, you can't get "credit" for the month you've already paid into that year?

4-- anyone have any negative reviews? Does it basically work etc? DH would be watching a team that would generally not be subject to the blackout, unless they are playing the Nats.
