Another daycare provider holiday gift question

| My kids just started daycare last week and I'm just realizing that we will probably need to do holiday gifts. They each have one main teacher and one assistant. What are typical gifts? Would we give the full amount given that they'll have only been there a month at the time of the holidays? Just looking for advice. Thanks! |

| The first year at our daycare we were there 3 months and gave each teacher a $25 amazon gift card. |

| having worked in a daycare we would not have expected gifts from someone so new, though it certainly would be friendly to drop off some cookies/fruit basket & a card thanking the teachers for their help with the transition, or something as a show of appreciation. |
