Washington Latin PCS Upper School

Can anyone chime in with some information on the upper school at Washington Latin? I see the posted curriculum includes Honors classes and sometimes AP classes in most subjects. What does that mean and how has your experience been at the Upper School?

I'm a Latin middle school parent and I think the Upper School is very hard to describe right now because so much is changing. Latin will have a real renovated school campus with playing fields, a science lab, etc. next year---as opposed to the cobbled-together hodge-podge of church rental space they have had to endure. That makes me think that more parents will consider staying, when before parents would peel off for Wilson, Walls or privates. We certainly will, whereas before we would not have. They also have a very dedicated college counselor, who appears to be working quite hard.

I too would love to hear from current Upper School parents about their impressions.

Excited about the new facility and expanded program for next year. Latin is becoming a Washington institution.
