Open House reservations?

Anonymous
Does anyone know of any elementary schools that require reservations to come to an open house?

What is it you're trying to figure out? The concept of an open house is that you just show up.

Some private schools ask you to register once you get there if you actually want to apply.

One charter I know used to make you go to open house before you could get an application. That's no longer the case.

If you really can't make an open house, it doesn't hurt to contact the school and ask for a tour or meeting some other time. Most decent schools will accomodate reasonable requests. If they won't, look elsewhere.

An open house has set dates and times. A reservation could just be pre-caution for the caterer

My charter required an rsvp for school tours- so they didn't have 100 people at once marching through the building.
