Looking for 3 day per week until 3 P.M. preschool in Bethesda/Potomac area

| Aside from Clara Barton Center for Children, do any of you have rec's for preschools that offer a 3 day per week until 3 PM schedule? I know there are several half days (9-12), but I really need the extra time during those 3 days for my business. Any help is appreciated. I've searched this board and several websites, but was hoping to widen my net. Thanks! |

| i doubt it. you will probably have to pay for a 5 day a week program and just keep your kid at home the 2 extar days, if that's the arrangement you want. |

| Lots of schools offer "lunch bunch" or something similar that extends the school day even if they don't have regular classes until 3. My daughter's school (Rockville Community Nursery School) has morning classes only, but the 3 and 4 year olds can stay until 2pm if they sign up for lunch bunch for that day of the week. It's more casual than the rest of the day, mostly lunch and some extra playtime & activities, and it's a mixed-age group (which is actually kind of nice). You should definitely ask about that kind of thing at schools that are just morning programs, and you might find that they have something like that even if it's not headlined when they describe their main classes. |

| MCCA on River Road probably has 3 day per week options. We were at another MCCA location and did three days per week. A good day care is just as good as a preschool. |

| How old is your child? Bethesda Country Day will do a three day a week program until 3PM for two year olds. Once they are three they have to go every day until noon, three or six PM. |

Our extended hours program, “Voyagers,” is available after morning classes from 12:30-5:30 pm, with flexible hours depending on your needs. “Voyagers” provides a play-based learning environment combined with unconditional love and support. Children grow their independence and self-confidence as they journey through the worlds of science, math, art and dramatic play. There is a basic itinerary as the children begin their voyage, but ultimately the children are the captains on this ship and based on their emerging interests the class may take a few interesting side trips along the way.

Christ Episcopal School Preschool - it's the best in the area. They currently have a few spots remaining for this year.
Monday, Wednesday Friday - 8:30 - 3:00pm They also 3 day half day, 5 day half day and 5 day full day. |
