Other than Nordstrom, which I will check out, does anyone have any advice for plus-sized, cute, age-appropriate, under $200ish evening wear for inaugural activities? I don't want black, I have small boobs, and I don't mind or look terrible in strapless. Do want floor-length.
Is there a rent the runway for plus-size wear? |
| Try Lord & Taylor. |
| Macy's. |

age -appropriate?
How old are you OP? |
| Sorry, I'm 35. I willing to spend up to $300, but not to "rent" |
| 300 for an inaugural ball dress. It will be very dark thre and no one will even see you. Save your cash. |
| How tall are you and general size/body type? Need to know what would look good with your body type |
| I've attended two inaugural balls, to both I actually wore bridesmaid dresses. They are often made in a range of sizes. |
| 5'8. Size 18-20. No boobs. Short waisted. Typically trend towards halters for formal wear. Look terrible in anything A-line. |
| Second lord and Taylor. You have to go try stuff on but they have lots of dresses, usually on sale. I wore a $65 dress from there to a ball 8 yrs ago. I was a 14 then but I think they had larger sizes too. |
Not op but like these both! |
Me, too! |

All of those stores have personal shoppers. Let them have a crack at it.
