Not only has this resulted in unanimous vitriol, but it's just plain weird (SN mom wonders why her child doesn't react well to her teasing him)

That thread is not the work of Octrotroll, but I'm not sure it belongs in the Special Needs forum. I'll keep an eye on it because it does appear the OP is trying to instigate trouble.

BTW, I don't think any of Octrotroll's posts have been mean or antagonistic. By and large, she is a very polite poster.

The problem with Octotroll is that now it seems every poster is getting accused of being a troll; IMO, this is a way of trolling in and of itself.

Yes, this is irritating. I'd rather that people simply report suspicions to me rather than disrupt threads with their accusations. Also, Octotroll was always polite. Now, people keep accusing jerks of being Octotroll. That makes no sense at all.
