Which Crane?

I recently bought the Crane Cool mist humidifier. I've had it for about a month and so far it's working good.

Overall when I was looking into it it had pretty good reviews. The only one I saw was someone complaining that it leaked but I haven't had any issues.

For me:
Pros: Fairly quiet, seems to work well for a small room, doesn't require a filter
Cons: Kind of a pain to refill (have to take it apart and unscrew cap to refill. Not hard, but would be nice if that was designed a little different)

I like the Crane too. We have the dragon and owl. We just got the owl and they have changed the design slightly. Both work very well. I hate filters. They get so nasty and moldy that I trashed our humidifier last year to buy the new one as I couldn't take the filter.

We have the Crane Cool Drop and we really like it. Asking as you follow the cleaning instructions, it works really well. I also bought these: http://www.amazon.com/DURACRAFT-Protec-Antimicrobial-Cleaning-Cartridge/dp/B00411SOZC/ref=pd_sim_hpc_20
It allows us to skip a day or two of emptying/cleaning and it keeps the water fresh. When we do clean it, I just remove them, pour some vinegar inside, shake it around, and rinse the inside well before putting the anti microbial things back in. We also empty the base everyday and spray it down with full strength vinegar to clean it.

Air-o-Swiss. Hands down.

We have two Air-o-swisses and a crane polar bear. The Air-o-swisses work much better. One of them got kind of nasty and we can't seem to get it clean, so we use the crane instead for that room, but we still prefer the one Air-o-swiss that isn't gross.
