Please explain how these actions are those of a good mother?

Jim weaponized legal decision-making over necessary drugs then when he moved, she tried to act unilaterally and he pounced. Now, he’s rid of his Meghan problem. No more flights back-and-forth to STL. No more dealing with her concerns about their special-needs child. Now he can make all the decisions himself without all the inconveniences, without their grandparents’ influence, without their pain in the neck mother in the picture upsetting his new wife.

I don’t understand how the prior custody agreement didn’t have ant language about limiting the child’s medical information being routinely blasted online? I know most states don’t have overarching laws protecting children’s privacy but if Jim didn’t want all details shared, that’s what he should have been fighting for in their custody battles.

I don’t understand how the prior custody agreement didn’t have ant language about limiting the child’s medical information being routinely blasted online? I know most states don’t have overarching laws protecting children’s privacy but if Jim didn’t want all details shared, that’s what he should have been fighting for in their custody battles.

Jim and his team should have also been prevented from leaking "information" in the media in the recent months in order to smear Meghan.

False. Kelly said one thing weeks ago when the news first broke. Likely a knee-jerk response to the shock of it all. She hasn't said anything since.

Meghan is allowed to lean on friends and family for support. Clearly no one else has said anything.

She may have verbally said something once, which I doubt, but she has been commenting on various instagram posts.

I lived in STL and followed Meghan early on social media. Looking back, I can see now that some of her posts - even going back 15 years - were really manic. It wouldn't surprise me if she had mental illness. Add in 3 kids in 2 years, a cheating spouse and other stressors... and I imagine she just broke. To me, her oversharing on social media seems like a cry for help.

I'm not sure that Edmonds is the monster people are making him out to be. I guess it's good he and his wife are stepping up with the kids. But to move his kids to TN at a time when they probably really need their mother and some assurance she's going to be okay... I dunno. Seems like it would've been better for them to relocate back to STL and help Meghan get the help she needs.

Her family was a nice, normal St. Louis family back in the day. I wonder if they are trying to stay involved in the kids' lives. I imagine it's really tough when your daughter's ex has unlimited funds and is revered in STL.

Please explain how she was being a good mother by moving her three young children into the home of a man she had been dating for six weeks, and wanting to move to California to be with this man (Jim stopped the move) and marrying and divorcing this man within 2 months. Please explain how these actions are those of a good mother?

He blocked Meghan’s move, then a few years later, he and Kortnie moved to Tennessee, and shortly after that move, he got sole custody and permission to relocate the kids to Tennessee, away from their mother and their extended family, which appears to play a significant role in their lives. Something is off here. Meghan was always punching out of her weight class in her battles with Jim.

Her behavior is a human response to what sure looks like a scheme to take her children away, not just a little away. He ended up with sole custody and a move to Tennessee when he previously argued that the kids shouldn't be removed from their family, friends and home in STL.

She has been wilding out for YEARS. Odd you just want to focus on her custody loss. Which was related to her giving her child drugs. Imagine defending that.

Can you please outline how medical decision-making authority was laid out in their custody order? Can you speak to the doctors the boys have had over the years, their medical histories, and their diagnoses? Also can you speak to Jim's involvement in those appointments, and also the IEP meetings at school?

Also, do you have experience with joint medical decision-making and how abusers weaponize that and withhold it as a means of ongoing coercive control and abuse?

DP. You nailed my suspicions / the two of them have bitter, deep fights and the kids are pawns. Jim weaponized legal decision-making over necessary drugs then when he moved, she tried to act unilaterally and he pounced. Now, he’s rid of his Meghan problem. No more flights back-and-forth to STL. No more dealing with her concerns about their special-needs child. Now he can make all the decisions himself without all the inconveniences, without their grandparents’ influence, without their pain in the neck mother in the picture upsetting his new wife.

And time will tell if the child does better or worse with his father and if he is as severely disabled and as unmanageable as Meghan described. It was clear that Jim’s understanding of his disabilities after talking with the doctors was different from Meghan’s. Periventricular Leukomalacia is a brain injury and a major precursor to Cerebral Palsy. CP is the most common outcome of PV.

Jim is a unconscionable petty d**k for denying and slow-rolling the medical care for his son, and likely the other one, too.

There are different causes of pvl, different severities, and different outcomes. Since the twins were 37 weeks at birth and over 6 pounds, they are in the category that typically has the more mild cases and the best outcomes. CP is not the most common outcome for all types and all severities. I don’t know the underlying causes for the twins but it isn’t a foregone conclusion that they would have CP.
