We won't get the list under this Admin because Trump is on it.

We won't get the list under a Democratic Admin because prominent Dems are on it.

Probably when my kids are my age, in 30+ years, they'll get the information from the file in the way we're getting the JFK info. They'll wait until everyone who could be implicated has died.

Exactly. It is so ridiculous that anyone tries to make this a partisan issue. Powerful men from all ends of the political spectrum were involved in this and nothing is ever going to happen.

Exactly. It is so ridiculous that anyone tries to make this a partisan issue. Powerful men from all ends of the political spectrum were involved in this and nothing is ever going to happen.

There was definitely something. A LOT of something. And now the Trump administration is trying to disappear it, memory hole it, cover it up and wants us to forget about it and move on. That is incredibly damning.

The right's preoccupation with pedophilia and pedophiles is insincere. They're once again exploiting serious issues to energize a base of ignorant supporters. The idea that Epstein had some list of influential people (possibly including former and current presidents) with whom he helped have sex with minors is so stupid that it doesn't deserve serious consideration. But it receives serious consideration because the right loves to exploit serious issues and stupid people for its benefit. Their supporters are so stupid that even now they believe that (1) there's a list and (2) that the MFs who exploited the issue are now the ones covering up wrongdoing that they committed to exposing, and thus can't be trusted.

I listened to a podcast years ago that explained the history of the religious right using "protecting the children" as way to advance their agenda. I wish I could remember the name of it because it was fascinating. It talked about the witch trials, satanic panic, all the way up through pizzagate and the current nonsense. They latch onto to this because if you disagree with them, they'll accuse you of supporting pedophiles and what normal person would support that. It's all a ploy. The ignorant ones may think it's about saving the children, but that's not what this is.

Now explain how they reconcile that with supporting a guy who is a proud sexual predator...

They “forgive” him. Note, Trump has not asked for forgiveness because that would be admitting to wrong doing, but they “forgive” him anyhow. Apparently that is the “Christian” thing to do.

They haven't forgiven him yet.

These people are as loyal as he is. Fickle. Not loyal at all.

Take a look at X, there are a lot of “Christians” who are forgiving him.

Agreed. I believe Ghislaine Maxwell deserves to rot in prison, but it's interesting that a woman is the only person serving time for these crimes. Patriarchy at its finest.

The man was murdered in his prison cell and there will never be any justice for that crime. That’s a bit worse than what Maxwell is experiencing to say the least. Plenty of misogyny exists in our society but that is not an example and it makes people tune out more legitimate claims.
