| seriously... can anyone cut this school a break? don't have a kid there, but I honestly think this pile on is ridiculous. yes, they have had problems, but they are also working hard to turn them around and are looking to do the right thing. None of us are perfect, but we'd hope and expect people to give us a little credit for trying to turn our lives around. Why aren't we doing the same for this school? I know several familiies with boys there that are TERRIFIC families and great boys who are not athletes, but artists and musicians. Enough of the landon bashing. |

| Seriously? In my opinion, Landon cannot redeem itself. Have you really seen the families there? Our boys went to another school that played them in sports and I thought the moms there looked so foolish and behaved worse.....Landon gets bashed for a bunch of legitimate reasons. |

So you know all 680 families that go there? Glad you and your school are so perfect that you can completely dismiss a community of families. Every school has its fans who don't behave so well. |

| I also am feeling the need to defend Landon. No kids there, and it probably isn't the right school for my family, but they are a great neighbor. They let the community use their fields for jogging, dog walking etc., and they have a terrific summer camp that we did like and return to for several years. We also like going to the Azalea festival and sometimes sled there in winter. Just felt like adding a positive comment... |

| Um. One of their graduates murdered someone in a drunken rage. And in recent years, their then current students created an online site rating girls and "reserving," for lack of a better word, girls for themselves for sexual activity. And those are the 2 things that the public found out about. PP, you are absolutely correct, we don't know all 680 families and I am sure some of them are lovely. I won't be taking the chance to find out. |
