It's normal to phrase discovery requests broadly. |
How ironic that in the first movie, Blake's character charmed her way into the life of Anna's character, and then essentially took over it and deprived her of peace and normality. |
I lost count of how many times she threatened to walk away and cost the producers millions. Baldoni detailed each one in his lawsuit and it is a comical amount. I mean this is really childlike behavior that’s concerning. The first time she threatened to quit, was at the end of preproduction right before filming started. But by then they had already done all the wardrobes to her specifications, the fittings, and had cast young Lily, who did at least resemble Blake which means if they had to recast, they would’ve had to recast the younger actress too. So they determined it was too costly and they just met her demands. But then at that point, she kept doing it at every turn. So then they had a week or two of footage shot and that would’ve been millions more lost the next time she threatened to quit. I think she threatened to walk at least a half a dozen times. Can you imagine the immaturity of constantly, constantly having your team let them know in the writing. She was going to walk if she didn’t get her way. She was willing to cost the production millions and millions of dollars because she wanted her way? At a time when the industry was very worried about being unemployed for months and months during all the strikes. That poor crew. Just total disregard for anyone but herself. |
The person who posted here claiming she was a stand-in on Gossip Girl said in essence Lively treated others very badly. The former AD who worked on A Simple Plan and more important projects (suicide squad) said Lively was a horrible person. She’s selfish and self-assured and mean. There’s a reason posters at lipstick alley had her number immediately. Her plantation antebellum bullsht are a feature, not a bug. She’s I’m sorry wait no I’m not, a nasty piece of shit. She was trying to redo the J Peterman catalog but “make it cuuuute and admire the time in the South when slavery was legal!” She clearly doesn’t regard many, many people as being people just like her. |
Yeah, whatever you think of astroturfing, this sexual harassment claim (keep in mind, the bar for sexual harassment is a makeup artist using a finger to pat on lipstick for Blake) I think every thinking person can agree she's a totally vapid and demanding POS who has been extremely problematic her entire career. For the defenders, of course that doesn't mean she couldn't be victimized as "imperfect victim" but this "punching up" strategy to harassment is very weird. The person trying to say there will be others is also easily manipulated by PR. Ferrer is on record legally, praising Baldoni. It was said pages ago, but Blake and Ryan are acting like this is a common thing for women. In reality, "predators " rarely aim upwards. They're trying to make this a male vs female thing. It's a power thing. |
| Where can one read details on the makeup artist SH claims? |
I refuse to believe these people are lawyers |
That's literally how discoveries work.. These requests are regarding Jeb and the PR agents. Not Justin and the SH. She knows Jeb was hired for Justin. Thats ALL she needs to delve further using the discovery requests. People very rarely have all the exact details before discovery. Jeb will ask the same of Blake and her PR shake to try and show his strategies aren't so bad. |
+1 i don't care how this ends. I want to know the strategies so I can be better prepared when consuming media and talking on Twitter and reddit. |
That isn’t the standard, all parties are only required to produce documents that still exist at the time if the discovery request. Typically there is document preservation request at the time the litigation is filed. In a criminal case, there might be a forensic review, but not in a civil case. |
Yes, my disgusting boss sexually harassed the receptionist at our office, not the women who were more middle class and had non admins roles. This doesn’t mean that he couldn’t have sexually harassed Blake, but she needs evidence, people aren’t going to believe that a powerful a lister married to a billionaire who has a history of putting people down is going to be a victim of sexual harassment unless she has evidence. For some white women, her being uncomfortable is more than enough. But women of color, even before her blackface video came out, know what type of woman she is (extremely self assured and powerful) and that she’s not the type to take crap and sit there—so she her claims of being a victim should be examined. |
Subject to it being relevant to the litigation. In any case, service providers don’t keep texts for more than a few months. She’s unlikely to wind up with much even with broad requests. |
You are on drugs. She’ll get documents relevant to any pr work done concerning her and nothing else. |
DP but... isn't that what she wants? Why would she want documents not relevant to the work Wallace did concerning Lively? I thought the whole point here was to get the work Wallace did for Baldoni about Lively. I'm confused as to what the debate is. |
There is one poster convinced that she will get info about his other clients. |
