Why did my thread get deleted?

It was posted in the wrong forum. It says very clearly at the top of the General Parenting forum: "Please post messages to the most appropriate forums. Wrongly posted messages will likely be deleted."

Jeff knows what I'm talking about. It feels a little odd that at least one person can *kind of* identify me. I find the approach of moving and deleting hyper controlling BUT I am not the boss here. Who cares if a thread about Pets shows up on Off Topic?

Actually, I must not know who you are because I was talking about a thread in General Parenting. If your post was in Off Topic, then it simply got moved to the Pets forum, not deleted.
