I just got my first period after a miscarriage but it is different and I am not sure what to consider day 1 of the cycle for figuring out likely ovulation time. I started spotting last Sunday, which lasted for about 3 days. It stopped for a day. I started bleeding heavily on Thursday, which has lasted for several days. Is first day of this cycle the day I spotted or the day I started bleeding for real? Thanks. |
You'll hear lots of different things about waiting a few cycles to start trying again, but my thought it to wait until you have one full, normal cycle. Give your body a chance to regulate. If you're really wanting to try this month, I'd count starting with the spotting and then use OPK's to try to catch your window. Good luck. |
One other thing that might sound weird, but is true from personal experience - make sure you get a negative pregnancy test before trying again. Hormones and other things can get in the way post-miscarriage. |
Agree with PP. It took an entire month after my miscarriage to get a negative on a pregnancy test. |
