How long did you wait for beta after FET?

How long did you wait for your beta after your FET.

I had a 6 day blast transfered on Monday. I hoped we could schedule a beta for the Friday after Thanksgiving, 11/23, but the nurse said that is "way too early". I'm unfortunately traveling for work the following week and worried about getting a beta in on 11/26 or 11/27. Is 11/23 really that early? I've read on this board that women have gotten BFPs as early as five days after their 5 or 6 day transfers. Reallize that is really early, but 11/23 would be 11 days after my transfer, making it 17 days past ovulation - shouldn't that be sufficient?

Yes, I had already had two betas by then during my successful cycle. She's being silly, but I've heard some places are rigid about that.

I had my beta 14 days after the transfer with SG. They won't schedule them much earlier than that. I did a HPT 13 days after and it was positive, so you could do a home test around that time if you have to wait for the beta.

I had a fresh IVF transfer on 8/19 at SGF, and they let me come in for my first beta on 8/31 (12 days later) so that I didn't have wait until the following Tuesday since it was Memorial Day weekend. They generally do want you to wait a long time after your transfer at SGF. If I were in your shoes, I would just take a home test and then go in for the beta as soon as you can after you trip. I have done a lot of cycles and always had an accurate HPT result using the First Response Early Result non-digital tests by five days after a day 5 or 6 transfer - sometimes positive, sometimes negative. Good luck!

Thanks, PPs. I've convinced the nurse to let us schedule on the Saturday, 11/24. It's only one day difference but she was adamant that was the earliest we could test. In reality, I will likely do an HPT at home before then, but am always anxious to get the official word.
