In regards to the new report card are you:
a. confused b. better informed c. angry d. don't care e. moving to VA |
d.
why is this worth getting your gander up over? it's only a report card for young children. |
B. |
A.
but only because the school says one thing, the teacher said something different, and everyone I know is getting different information. If we could get solid information I would be on the side of D-don't care. |
D.
I'm happy not to start "tracking" at such a young age (3rd grade) and otherwise have confidence that DD is progressing well. |
C. I think real grades are good motivators. I don't want 9th grade to be the first time my child receives an actual grade. |
D. My only kid currently in MCPS is in third grade and we never had proper letter grades prior to this. P and I are as good as O and N, in my book - either way I had to look at the key on the report card to understand where my child was. Anyway, what really matters to me is what my child's teacher tells me. |
Our school still used actual grades for 4th & 5th. 2.0 was only implemented for K-3 thus far. |
