Seems GWU lied and cheated their way to the US News rankings, then (before? during?) their rise through the ranks, they kept increasing tuition to make the school look more prestigious (yes, studies show that people associated high price with high quality). And I know it's not just GW. Just don't like the games, including the US News ranking. |
Cheating to skew the US News rankings takes many forms. It is all unsavory and does nothing to improve higher Ed. The sooner the US News rankings go away, the better. Does US News even exist anymore? |
Very bad news about GWU. They have a "white-men only" "yes man culture" at the top. These things happen when diverse opinions/people are not welcome in decision-making circles. |

This is just like how the law schools game the system to make their numbers look better. They are slowly cracking down on this and some of the schools are being sued by unemployed graduates. |
