Looking for OB recs in Silver Spring ... 24 weeks in

Hello all,

I am thinking about changing my OB practice ... if I can find a good practice that will take me at 24 weeks. I've been going to Dr. Ein and Cap Womns Care in the physicians office bldg at Holy Cross. I like Dr. Ein and his partners Drs. Klein and Coates, but there are about 5 (I think) other doctors in the practice, most of whom I haven't met and one of whom (Dr. Norman) positively creeps me out. So, I'd like to find a smaller practice - either a small group or a solo practice - so that I can actually know who will be delivering my baby. Women First looked like a nice practice in Silver Spring but I just missed their cutoff of 24 weeks for new patients. Does anyone have OB recs for doctors they like in Silver Spring who are in reasonably small practices?

I go to OBGYN Associates -- also in the HC physicians bldg. While the practice is large, not all of the docs do OB. The docs and nurses are great.

I go to Drs. Dickman, Maggid, Butler, Ladd, Newhouse, and Rangnath. I like some better than others but overall it's a great practice and I've received excellent care. They have offices in Silver Spring and Rockville and deliver at HC.

I second the vote for OBGYN Associates. Had my first baby with them, am currently pg with #2, and really like them!

My wife is 25 weeks in, and her OB is Michele Klein at Holy Cross.

She is terrific, and all the support staff, midwives, technicians, nurses are all fantastic.
