Half Day: Montgomery County

For the life of me I can't find out what time the half day ends in Montgomery County. Does anyone know? I have searched the website to no avail; although I am sure it is in an obvious place!

Call the school tomorrow and ask. It's right after lunch, no recess, but what exact time may depend on the school.

For us it is 1pm for elementary.

It depends one when your school starts..it is 2.5 hours early.

normal dismissal for our school is 3, on half days it's 12:30. PP is right, 2.5 hrs early.

My DD's dismissal time is 12:35.

OP, did you look on the school's website or the MCPS one? I would check the actual school site if you haven't already. Or call tomorrow--it's not a big deal and I'm sure many parents don't know. You won't be the only one asking.

Elementary and middle have different start times. So you need to go by that. Each website should have the schedule posted, too - for regular, half, delayed school schedules.
