Down the street from Old Hardy, on MacArthur Blvd.

The river school deal fell through, so gds is trying to sell it again.

DCPS is in trailers 3 blocks away (Key)!
How can anyone rationalize this?

The Lab School has been there for years, and has lots of political connections to keep leasing it.

She tweeted that money has been identified. That's a long way from a done deal.

GDS is not the seller.

This is correct. GDS sold, and buyer resold.

So who is the buyer trying to sell it to DCPS?

Troll question.

River parents were told by the River administration that they had been outbid for the GDS Lower School by another entity. I assume that it's that buyer that is now reselling to DCPS.

It was Avenues School of NYC that was the apparent buyer who outbid River. But I heard the deal fell through and GDS still owns it. But not sure if that's true.

So then he’s got the break up fee plus resold to DCPS? Or Avenue resold? Won’t this be in the public records over time...

Good luck with that.

GDS parents were told the buyer is looking to resell.
