Safe parking near Verizon Center in the evening?

There are parking garages including one attached to the Verizone Center. Have fun!

Why do you assume it is unsafe? There are always a lot of people around, and generally a very low crime rate.

The area has changed dramatically over the last few years. I don't think you'll need to worry.
Obviously, Metro is best for not-so-familiar visitors to the city, but if you're gonna' drive there's a garage underneath Verizon center itself and many others below most of the buildings. It's often possible to find street parking in Penn Quarter as well. Use basic street smarts and walk assertively, but you shouldn't really have a problem. |

I work about 3 blocks from the Verizon Center and regularly encounter prostitutes on the corner when I get in between 6-7am.
But they never bother me, so you should be fine
