| Does anyone have any good Alternatives to the "Mommy-Job"? I don't want surgery, which is a bit too much for me, but I do want to get rid of the rolls of fat on my stomach post-baby. My weight is actually fine, and I exercise and eat well. BUt, the skin on my stomach is stretched out, and kind of slack--just wrinkled and won't snap back, just kind of rolls of it on my stomach. It's really hard to make it to go away. Any luck anyone else out there? |

As far as I know, there is no alternative to surgery to remove the extra skin. Unless you just delivered in the past 6 weeks, your skin isn't going to snap back.
I only have a small roll that I'd like to get rid of, but my plastic surgeon won't operate b/c it's not "bad enough" to warrant it. She just recommends high waisted jeans, sadly. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm 3.5 years post-baby, and it's not getting any better. I'm also 5'7 and 128 lbs, so it's not fat, just skin. I think the thinner you are, actually, the more pronounced the sagging skin too. |
PP you just totally bummed me out ... i am 18 months PP and same height/weight .... i was hoping it would go away
