I wish she would just come clean on her Instagram and admit it was a charade that she took way too far (to an offensive point, for many). It’s just annoying that she thinks we could possibly believe her spin on it. DCUM is not just “social media,” it is a valuable tool for living in this area. I have gotten some of the best advice of my life on this stupid website about everything from parenting to my job to my relationships to whether to fix up my bathroom because sometimes an over-educated sophomoric bully is exactly who you need to hear from!

She could:

Admit that she lied;
Apologize to her husband;
Apologize to her fans;
Apologize to all of the people she duped in interviews;
Apologize to all of the immigrants who don’t get to decide when to conveniently have an accent;

Leave social media for awhile so that people will forget about her.

How does this affect me? I watched my mother be ridiculed for having an accent my entire life. People acting like having a foreign accent makes you sexy or exotic is deeply insulting and belittles what my mother and other immigrants went through. I think people like this should be ashamed of themselves and this whole fiasco, while very funny, also makes me deeply angry. I am really tired of the various white people shenanigans of 2020.
